Apparently DC and Minneapolis do have something in common

A Craig's List ad by one of my more clever friends:

Seriously Minneapolis, what the fuck?! - 27

So once again Minneapolis, what the fuck?! We seem to have a good time and as a city you have so much potential, but why is it so hard to meet anybody in this town?!

Basically, I'm a transplant. Moved here a while back to start a new job. I like all the same things you do. I promise. I go to shows. I go to bars. I get coffee. I go to gallery openings. And yet with all this going out and trying to meet people, it just doesn't happen.

Let's start over Minneapolis, please? I'm attractive. I'm a snazzy dresser. I'm fun to be around. I have a full time job so I'm not a freeloader. I'm artistic and educated and all the other things you are looking for. I live a pretty interesting life, so what gives?

The summer is here. I am looking for a good looking girl on my arm so we can do fun things like go for bike rides, and listen to records, and go for walks around the lake, and get ice cream. I also highly enjoy run on sentences. And FYI, since I know this sort of thing is so important to you Minneapolis, I need to let you know that I am 5'6" and I am of average build. Since you are shallow like that. Basically I'm not super tall, but I'm not a fatty so I guess that counts for something.

C'mon Minneapolis. Let's be friends, and maybe kiss if I'm lucky.

Your friend should try meetin.org to get to know people.
