Movies in real life

I've been seeing ads for this movie, Dan in Real Life, and although it's not a movie I was going to rush out and see, I like Steve Carell, and for that I wouldn't mind checking it out. At least Netflixing it. Then today I saw a new ad for it that mentioned not only Steve Carrell, but Dane Cook too. I can't stand Dane Cook. Can Steve Carrell cancel out Dane Cook? I'm pretty sure then it would be a movie I wouldn't want to see. And people better not tell me it's a great, must see the way they did with Knocked Up. I finally got around to seeing it, and I can't think of one thing I liked about it. Seriously. I don't want to laugh at that kind of situation. I don't want to watch a movie about that kind of situation.
